Team Schierl Companies Today

Team Schierl Companies (TSC) is based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin (population 24,000) with 110-120 million dollars in annual sales. TSC primarily operates retail service locations in central and northeast Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan focusing on convenience. These retail service locations includes 21 "The Store" convenience stores, 7 Goodyear/Gemini Schierl Tire & Service centers, 14  Subway franchised restaurants, and 1 Cousins Subs restaurant. TSC also operates Schierl Oil, a home and commercial heating oil business,  5 Maytag laundromat facilities, and a Real Estate Development division.

Team Schierl Companies has over 500 Associates working in an environment which emphasizes teamwork. At TSC, Associates work together in teams rather than the more traditional hierarchy of leadership (management). TSC believes that an organization needs to create and maintain an environment that cultivates and nurtures all Associates talents and skills. This goal is accomplished through the development and education of team Associates. Hence, TSC works to have a structure of Associate Leadership not Management.
